Inflation
quarter
for your thoughts,
crescent moon
undimmed by autumn
the trees remain verdant
yet the days darken
now you have gone far away
even so, my love blossoms

after the weekend
last tree almost finished trimmed
flower beds deleafed
they sit solid
as Buddhas:
fallen apples
Flight
Passing, in the rain,
flock of geese in the field
ready for take-off

end of summer
a cocoon rides the wind
her empty room

lonely man walks
by the tombstones
among dead leaves

the faint buzz
of the autumn fly

First frost--
The young man's voice cracks
For the first time
such mellow autumn
even this greying day shines
in the gentle rain

Yeah Buddy...
gold mine on craigslist
folks need to cull their garden
and want to share
Road into mist
the road dissolves into dirty white,
as the morning unfolds

TWITTER
Condensed in haiku
life and art entropy:
freedom to 'twitter'*
*Twitter is the high-speed form of blogging in which one writes aout ones life in bursts of 140 characters or fewer.

crows in a row
chatter together
planning halloween
buckets
of grapes
were poured into trailers
a red butterfly
settled
on a bunch of blue grapes
Burning leaves--
Last vestige perfumes
My graying hair
