Your fine haiku coincides with the Leonid meteor shower maximum (last night and two nights ago). If you don't mind, it would be preferable to use in the second line "a shower of meteors" (as the astronomically consacred term for the luminous phenomena; I know that many people in mass media say meteors = meteorites, but I've learned that the International Meteor Organization operates with 3 terms: -Meteoroid - the interplanetary dust left by a comet; -Meteor - the luminous phenomenon created in touch with the atmosphere; -Meteorite - the small (burnt) particle which touch the earth.) I am grateful for your friendship.
